Don't leave it in that water. Shake out most of the water. Keep covered. Cut a water bottle in half and plop it inside and set the top part back on. Leave it alone until you see roots

A skilled grower would have no problem pulling a lb off of 1/2 a plant. You probably want to start with 4 though...

This exactly. After dropping on a qb120 for veg and a qb260 for flowering, I knew what was up. Now have 700w in a 4x4 and 230w for veg. The growth difference blew my mind haha
