So I was wondering about pollination methods. It seems to me that most people collect pollen and do their pollinating that way. I'm sure that works fine, but wouldn't it be much simpler to just hold a flowering male over the female you intend to pollinate (obviously in a separate, secluded room)...

If one of them hermied and pollinated the other ones, then yes, the resulting seeds would be feminized. If you pollinated them with a male the seeds would be regular, male and female.

I've heard that anything between 6-200 plants is an automatic minimum six month sentence. I have no idea what happens if you get caught with less than 6. I don't imagine it would be too harsh a punishment, but I'm hoping to never have to find out for myself.

Autos will flower without 12/12. They will flower when they're ready, regardless of light cycle. And you're right about the other ones.

Also, it looks to me like the lights should be closer. But again, newb here.

Pots too big? Those little plants aren't going to dry all that soil up very fast. They could be suffocating. But keep in mind, I'm pretty new at this myself. If it were me though, I would not water again for a while.

I've never used Fox Farms. This soil is organically fertilized with fish. I used it on my last seedlings and they did very well. There is a link in the original post.

Also, you can't really tell from these pictures, but the brown spots and leaves you can see mostly on the one plant are actually purple. It just looks brown in the pics. I know this can be a sign of being too cold, but the temperature never goes below 20C in this room, so I don't know what's up...
