Leave edges turning brown on seedling

What is All mix? home made? Store bought? timed release? Tap, RO, or distilled water? anything added? 2 to 300 Watts of LED Light may be too strong even at 26" for a seedling, usually I use a Cree flood and a 23 Watt CFL for a plant that young. White light photos work better for identifying...

FNG here. I need help identifying problems.

Captain Jacks dead bug is good for thrips also. Get the liquid to mix, since the powder doesn't rinse off very well. Thrips love low Relative humidity, so get rid of them before flower. You can also cover your soil with some quilted foil insulation, since they also hate direct light and go from...

    Grow Controller ?'s

I love technology and am a CIS guy but I find growing to be a kind of relaxation exercise for me so I try to keep it simple. Look at the code and especially the comments with the code on almost any medium to large scale project or piece of software and you shall know fear.

    Any Maine nerds around?

You are not allowed to sell to other caregivers, but you can sell to the dispensary(up to two pounds per year only.) Anything you have extra you can donate to a patient or other caregivers, then they can return the favor for you if you need some for a patient. Electricity is expensive here...

    Grow Controller ?'s

That is why the EULAs for software always have the weasel words "Not liable for any losses, due to failure of the software ...." Obviously this is meant for Hydro growers, but I think you hit the nail on the head with KISS. Cannabis is both easy and hard to grow so why make it more complicated...

Nutrient lockout or heat damage? Doesn't appear to be bugs but more info and pictures would be useful. Especially pics from before amendment of the soil.

Help , Grow room too cold

If you have a lot of air leaking in, you could get a portable propane heater that screws onto a 20 lb canister like they use for BBQs and patio heaters. *** ******WARNING***** If the room is tight, don't do it! And get a Carbon Monoxide detector if you have any combustion going on in your house...

I am sorry I can't do it till next month because it was quite chilly here yesterday. Winter grow room timing can keep temps...

    New to LED'S

Listen to the folks above, they are correct in the fact that the 500 W light will probably only draw a maximum of 310 watts at the plug, then allow for losses at the drivers, you will see half of that. The chinese sellers on E-bay usually tell you what the draw at the plug will be in the fine...

    FAQ's for Maine Patients

The cost of $300.00 for a MMJ card should be adjusted down soon. The law has provisions that if the fund that receives the fees is over a certain amount, then the cost of a card/cert can go down to as little as $75.00 per year. (Or somewhere in between.) Of course this is if the administrative...

And remember... Read. READ. READ. Best advice you could give the man. Most of the people here give advice they feel is sound. There is always disagreements on certain methods but you have to make your own decisions. Type of lighting even creates arguments but the need for sufficient, "good"...

21st Century Drip Using 320 GPH Pump

I want to know where you got the giant tinkertoy frame! That could be very useful in a small to large grow in any medium. Hydro looks interesting but you certainly do a lot of work just making adjustments. I am too lazy for that!
