My very First Grow is in trouble...HELLPPP!!

If you have too much cash and too much time, go with a multi-part nutrient line. If you're looking for cheap, dead simple and excellent results, Megacrop is the ticket. You're better off buying direct through Greenleaf: https://greenleafnutrients.com/product/mega-crop/ and available coupon...

    Oregon Outdoor, 2020

Haven't done light dep outdoors, primarily because I'm not set up for it, and I assume it takes significant effort. But you're right, that's the way to get them to finish before the fall rains.

    Oregon Outdoor, 2020

Yup, I admired your greenhouse longingly in your photos last Sept. I'll bite eventually. So here's my finalized 2020 outdoor lineup: Skunk #1 Durban Poison Kilimanjaro Durban Poison x R2 I chose the Kilimanjaro only on the basis of having more seeds of that strain. The...

    Oregon outdoor 2019

Awesome for SURE! We invariably get a string of days like this that convinces Oregon newbs summer is here early. They uncover their roses, starting planting tomatoes, etc., etc... Then it freezes solid and we get a blanket of spring snow. SURPRISE!!! @xtsho , Dude, you gotta head over to the...

    Oregon Outdoor, 2020

After getting crushed by the early monsoons last Sept the option of a covered garden is pretty attractive. Been thinking of picking up one of the $150 free standing heavy plastic shelters from Amazon to put over the girls this year.

    Female pollen

I've tried both CS and STS and have to agree with @xtsho , STS is the way to go. You can get away with spraying just once at the beginning of flower, but it's recommended that you hit the same buds again 4 days later. Here are the directions for mixing...

    Wrangling a Malawi in hydro/scrog

Thanx for answering my questions instead of just berating Ace's genetics. I'm confused re: your strategy. It sounds like you wait until your screen is almost full before you flip. On this grow, just before they hit the screen I topped them, then flipped to 11/13. It's been 3 weeks and they've...

    Wrangling a Malawi in hydro/scrog

Let's review... I've never grown a full blooded sativa before so I have no experience with them, and I don't "claim" anything, just repeating what Ace says about their Malawi. Take it up with them if you think the strain looks indica. You're usually helpful, but GEEZUZ!

    Oregon Outdoor, 2020

Time for another round, folks! Where are you and what're the plans for your outdoor garden this summer? I'm in the mid-valley, and my menu so far: Durban Poison (Dutch Passion, F2) Durban Poison x Jorge's Diamonds (F1) Skunk #1 (Sensi) The 4th plant is undecided. Choices, in order of...

    Wrangling a Malawi in hydro/scrog

Yeah, this is what I'm expecting, and hoping to get some advice on how to handle the stretch.

    Wrangling a Malawi in hydro/scrog

@Airwalker16 and @Renfro, you guys might be focusing too much on the overall plant appearance. Before the Malawi hit the scrog she appeared much lankier and sativa-like, but it's deceptive because the scrog is keeping her low profile like you'd expect an indica to look. The fan leaves, though...

    Wrangling a Malawi in hydro/scrog

Heard this as well. I plan on lowering the N nutes when I change out the res in another week or so.

    Wrangling a Malawi in hydro/scrog

The Durban is recognized as having some minimal indica genes, but all (other) sources tout the Malawi as being "pure" sativa. Indica dominant isn't even close. Interested the source of your info, though.

    Wrangling a Malawi in hydro/scrog

Been growing indicas and hybrids successfully for about 3 years in both soil and hydro/scrog but this time wanted to try a 100% Sativas, so I'd appreciate any experiential support you can offer. I sprouted a Malawi (Ace) and a Durban Poison (Dutch Passion) and poked them into my hydro system...

Video showing corona patients inside hospital

What they are not showing are the multitudes of aged or immunodeficient people who are being turned away -- effectively to die at home -- due to the collapse of the medical system. This is the U.S. in 3 weeks.

    Led Strip Light Spacing

One of the many great things about using strips is you can spread out the light source to get an even distribution of photons over the entire canopy. Much better -- especially if you scrog -- than a concentrated point source that focuses light in the middle and quickly diminishes to unacceptable...
