    Discount cannabis seeds ?

I've purchased various seeds from them multiple times without problems. Seeds are shipped in a padded envelope in sealed breeder packs and all have been viable so far.

    Newbie first harvest

I gotta say, that is a killer grow for a newb, or anyone for that matter. Some got it, some don't. You have it well in hand. Nice work.

Adding Emerson Effect to a strip light

I've introduced UVA+B by way of a 39w reptisun tube. Seems to have done it's job, but you gotta be careful; too much, too fast and you'll see nanners popping out all over.

Adding Emerson Effect to a strip light

Haven't found any comparative grow journals but I'm pretty sure I've read a scientific research article on Emerson, but not specifically Cannabis. I'll try to locate it, but it was sufficiently convincing to get me started on the topic.

Adding Emerson Effect to a strip light

Emerson Effect has to do with the synergy between the plant processes driven by different wavelengths of near and far red. Adding ~660nm and ~730nm wavelengths seriously impacts the rate of photosynthesis. Flower initiation is a different effect and has to do with exposing plants to far red for...

    Thanks to all.

Looks to me like 2 of them have just started flowering after a couple of weeks of 12/12. OP, what's your light schedule been?

    Thanks to all.

Lookin' good from here, Dude. Nice work. You've been on a flowering schedule for 2-3 weeks?

Adding Emerson Effect to a strip light

I'm wanting to leverage the Emerson Effect -- primarily to shorten flowering, but I wouldn't turn down increased yield as well. Perhaps it's my age-addled brain, but synthesizing all of the various processes and parts into the "right" solution leaves me with a lot confusion and questions. If I...

    Scrog help !

Agree that for LEDs, 35-45 watts/sqft without CO2 is optimal, but that's over plant canopy. Take into account aisle ways, etc, and you can scale your lighting accordingly. Personally, I'd calc it with 8 sqft of aisle and 24 of canopy , so at the low end, 35 x 24 = 840, so your estimate of ~1000...

    ?? Supercrop help

I concur after checking the closeup. My initial reaction was based on the description ("hanging by a thread") without checking the photo. There's actually fairly good connection that will probably heal over time.

^^^^^ This. A scrog screen will be your best friend in future grows with that setup.

    ?? Supercrop help

Woody stems are past the point to supercrop safely. They tend to be brittle and have a tendency to snap, as yours probably did. If you can get the "green" parts of the broken stem to mate up and wrap with duct tape, it's possible it will heal, but may not be worth it. I'm sure you picked up...

Competent grow room electrical advice needed

Thanx, Dude. You are the guy I was hoping would show up, but you're in territory that is *way* over my head, and I think you've talked me into looking at Tasmota flashed device more closely. I'll keep your post for future reference, though. Thank you.

Competent grow room electrical advice needed

You know, I've looked at these briefly as an alternative, but despite being a retired IT guy, I'm not familiar enough with these critters to understand how they work. Are they just wifi devices that connect to my wifi router via one of the 802.11 protocols and use SNMP or something similar, or...

Competent grow room electrical advice needed

Looking for some best-practices electrical advice. I've been doodling with Mycodo on a Raspberry Pi for data collection and monitoring, but would like to transition to using the Pi to control some of the high power devices in the grow room; e.g. lights, heater, chiller, etc. My grow room is 6' x...

    UV Suppliment Lighting

So I've been running the 39w Reptisun 10.0 for 2 weeks now, going gradually from 2 x 1/2 hour cycles per day to 2 x 2 hour cycles and everybody is happy so far. no sign of damage or nanners (yet) and plenty of frost, so I'll probably push to 2 x 3 hr. Which is exactly what I did:

No, but if that is the parameter that's important to you, good luck.
