I hate those little bastards!! Hard to tell if they are actually laying eggs on my plants, they seem to just do a touch and go landing. I have neem seed meal in my soil and in my compost tea so I don’t know if that’s making the plants a less desirable spot to deposit poo and eggs. I haven’t...

    Hembra Genetics

I don’t know, I tried to get to their site today and can’t connect. Hope they survived because they were super reliable for me!

    Hembra Genetics

Man… that’s the opposite of my experience! I’ve ordered from them 3 times and gotten really fast delivery (within a week). I had a 10 pack of Blueberry Muffin and only 3 germinated, I had 3 ten packs and those were the only ones that didn’t germinate and the replaced that 10 pack no questions...

OD does have chunky nuggs!! I usually put my plants out May 15. I think with Oregon Diesel you need to keep in under 16+ hours of artificial light until after June 1.

Thanks! I’m a big fan of early finishers too. I grew Oregon Diesel for quite a few years. Always gave me great bud, finished by the 3rd -4th week of Sept but the down side was it was a bitch to trim and botrious always seemed to be an issue. I’m sold on this living soil and compost tea regime...

Crossing my fingers that my long range forecast is right. It was showing a chance of showers this weekend, both my forecast models have removed that chance and the next forecasted chance of rain is Oct 3. I’ll have at least 4 of my 6 plants hanging by then! one of the others I’m just going to...

    BT and Neem Oil

Are you spraying as a preventative or are you finding bugs? I don’t spray at all unless I see an issue. If you mix your own soil, try mixing in neem seed meal, I’ve used it in my mix and compost tea for the last two years and have had zero issues. Read up on living soil, that’s what I’ve done...

    Watering after plant stress

Me personally. Whenever I do something that stresses the plant, like lollipopping, or thinning over grown plants I always water immediately before or after I do it. I “might” consider a light feeding but it is usually just water. I’ve been lucky the past 2-3 years and have had no pests. I’m...

Things are stacking up nicely (except for two plants). This is a view from my dining room looking down on to the garden.

    Cooking out alcohol for FECO

Yes! It helps a lot, thank you. I found a couple of YouTube videos on the subject, so I got the general idea, but your explanation actually helped me a lot more. I used between 30-40g from a decent strain I grew last year, about 16-18% THC. I’m making gummies for a friend and he requested...

    Cooking out alcohol for FECO

I usually use the Green Dragon method for making Tinctures and wish I had this time, but I broke out my MBM and made 2 cups of Green Dragon tincture. Ive never made FECO before and I’m not sure for how long or how far down I cook off the alcohol. I poured the tincture into a mason jar and put...

It was smoky here in the gorge, then the wind shifted in the afternoon and blew it all out, it’s back again this morning. Soon as we get a west wind again it’ll blow it all away.

Wildfire smoke rolled in to the gorge from the east today! It’s pretty bad, was really hoping to avoid it this year!

Plants are starting to show some color, and buds starting to bulk up! We were down to 48 yesterday morning, 46 this morning getting up into the upper 80’s and mid 90’s this weekend, but the nights are really cooling off! I love September! That Blueberry Muffin in the back at the corner of my...

    Need some wisdom and advice!

What I meant was, once I have mostly milky and some amber I’m in that window to harvest. So if I have really shitty weather coming, I’m dealing with pests or see bud rot setting in, I’ll chop, if I’m not dealing with those things I leave it two more weeks. As for smell and taste? I dry in my...

    Need some wisdom and advice!

I may be right, I’m sure someone will say I’m wrong. But I’ve always gone with a 2 week window rule for harvesting. In my experience you’re always going to see “some” clear tricholms. When I see mostly milky and “some” ambers my two week window starts. I’ve heard that if you harvest with...

    DEER!! Help! They're eating everything

I have three in my family. I’m well aware of my state and local laws. I’ve also posted my local laws in this thread backing up my posts. I’m not promoting killing animals for just being on your property or causing minor damage, just sharing what are your rights.

    Removing fan leaves

Its different here. If you’re in a rural town (I am) then you can pump your own gas even if there is an attendant. One of my cars is a VW tdi. Diesel has always been pump your own and I prefer that because there’s an air release valve just inside where the nozzle goes that gets you 2 more...
