    Removing fan leaves

LIke I’ve always said on here, there is no one and only way to grow. It’s great to get advice, but after a few years you get to Know what works for you. I’m like you, I literally give away pounds over the course of the year. I’m in Oregon and there are still gas stations where attendants will...

    Any ideas on these pics?

Hard to get comprehensive info. He was overwatering earlier in the summer and I noticed he was watering the same amounts in a fabric grow pot as he was a half wine barrel that only had two small drain holes. He got some root rot, but we caught it in time.

    Any ideas on these pics?

Not yet. They are a friends plants. We’re in north central Oregon. Usually throw up a PVC high tunnel the second week of Sept or when we hear there is a good chance for a soaking rain. It almost look like sunburn to me too.

    DEER!! Help! They're eating everything

Same here! A friend who lives about 1/4 mile from me has had 4 different bear on his property this summer, his property shares a property line with our local high school. He hasn’t shot any even though they ripped through 6 or his 10 bee hives. He has shot a bobcat that has gotten into his...

    DEER!! Help! They're eating everything

I agree with you, but when you are a rancher and depend on your alfalfa harvest to get your cattle through the winter, then you have to take measures, same with wolves, Cougar, bear or coyote preying on your livestock! Now if you are a backyard gardener growing your own stash for the year...

    DEER!! Help! They're eating everything

That’s the way it is in Oregon and Washington. My friend has a commercial license and his farm is less than 5 miles from my property. He’s shot two deer this summer, reported it to the WDFW and has not been fined.

    How far into flower?

Buy a jewelers loop or had held scope and harvest when you see at least 20% amber tricholms. if you look now, they will all be clear, into mid Sept, they’ll be a milky white then ambers start to appear. I’ve had Blueberry muffin finish 3rd week of Sept, but usually I’m harvesting them around...

    Oregon Outdoor 2022

Another weird pheno of a Blueberry Muffin. None of my other BM have done this. It gets 8-9 hours of direct sunlight a day and it’s stretched and grown like it’s sun starved. The internode spacing is ridiculous! It’s between 10-11’ tall and 4-5 feet wide. It looks like I’ve never topped it! The...

What to do when it rains?

I put a makeshift tunnel over my plants around middle of Sept. I drive in 3’ half inch rebar pieces into the ground and bend 20’ pieces of PVC over the plants. Then I have greenhouse plastic sandwiched in between two pieces of 1x4 and attach at the top. This allows me to harvest the tops and...
