they told you to have water running 24/7? try 2-5 times a day for 5 mins or so adjust as needed. definitely do not water them all day. and in veg the lights are longer so may not of affected them as much. and how long did you veg them for? and its much easier to fix a underwatering problem...

depending on how big and how dank your plants are a carbon filter may not be quite enough. i had to get a inline ozone generator as well. do you just have it blowing the air in the room? or do you have it exhausting somewhere?
