This isn't totally necessary. I've done multiple runs, you just have to watch for when the butane turns clear. Then unpack the tube, refill, and spray some more. It doesn't effect the quality or trap butane. Just allows you to do a few gram run.

I disagree. Grinding up buds destroys cell walls and allows the butane to extract more than just the cannabinoids. In other words, when you grind up your buds your are increasing your wax and oil and lipid content that gets into the final product.

Hexane would be best. There is no ratio, you just had hexane until all your solvent is dissolved, not rocket science. Some good questions but nobody knows the saturation points of cannabinoids. We would have to wait for it to be legalized in order to know stuff like that. Or just do some trial...

^Don't take my word for this...but I've have heard...slash I think...peanut butter textured errls mean you haven't purged well enough. Don't take my word for it...but every wax I've seen with a peanut butter texture was under purged. Could be wrong...not trying to hate.
