I think this is a common happening. I know I prefer to start out my plants in tiny containers (solo cups that I've perforated on the bottom and sides with a sewing needle to allow the soil to vent) so that I can replant them after a time and bury the stems to just under the tiny round baby...

Yeah, I'm trying to be gentle about this, but by the time you see the mildew inside a bud the battle's been decided. That flower is already dead, and it will only serve as a spore incubator for your grow. Your options are down to removing the bud from the plant or removing the plant entirely...

My setup makes about as much noise as a desktop computer. The fans are noisier on their own, but the tent they're inside of muffles the sound. Or at least it did, until I rehung my lights with chains, and now one of the oscillating fans occasionally blows air through it. So now it sounds...

I was wondering about this as I was trying to find my tweezers. I know some breeders use a silver sorcery solution, but also know other breeders are suspicious of witchcraft. Or just cheap. Good looking out on the water spray, too. I think I'm gonna like it here.

Oh, I missed that. I would only bother with any of what I suggested if you had mildew on your leaves. If it's in a bud, I think the mildew wins that.

Are nanners that small generating pollen already?

I've tried baking soda solutions on pm on plants other than cannabis, and it kills it. Haven't tried hydrogen peroxide but I've heard of that remedy as well. You've got to make sure the underlying causes are resolved as well, so reasonable relative humidity without a big temp swing when the...

If I may ask one last question, how much of an area is going to be suspect now? The tip of that bud? The cola? The whole plant?

Done, and good call. I found a smaller one tucked into the other side of the bud when I took a second look using the tweezers to poke around gently. I'll take another look in the morning. What do? If there is a third, cut the bud?

Looks like it might be some hermaphroditic growth. This is roughly the beginning of week 6 of flower on a Gelato plant that has experienced some light damage, so it seems plausible. I figured I should get a second opinion. This is the clearest photo I got, but I can take more if needed.

Maybe consider buying one of those $10 green 3 Way Meters. It lets you know when your soil is dry and when your lights are too far away. Possibly more accurate than a poll, too.

That's a good one once my eyes stop seeing double. It's got grades for different periods of growth. Most impressive.
