    Early Havesting

Alright, I'm set on that Idea, I just hope It's true that Mango can be harvested around Oct 7th... Although I wouldn't mind some couchlock :) I'm probably going to go to sacred seeds tommorrow, might even start a journal! I just hope I can rely on my parents to water them when I'm at school...

    Early Havesting

Haha thanks for the tip, I might do that or I might actually get a plant that can be harvested mid october. Since I'm in canada our thanksgiving is Oct 7 (I think) so it will be perfect. I'll just have to make my sister/mother to water them (I really hope they dont screw up). I'm thinking of...

    Early Havesting

Ya I've looked into autostrains but the problem is I don't want to order online, I'd rather go downtown Toronto and buy them first hand... Unfortunatly all the Toronto seed banks don't offer autoflower seeds...Dammit!

I am just wondering if I should even bother growing if I can't harvest before early september. Is there a strain out there that Is a great early finisher that...

    building my cab :D

All sounds good but I'm still confused about the 45 clones in your diagram? thats way to many for a 250w, even for clones. Also whats your ventilation like?

    building my cab :D

Are you going to veg the clones in the flower room or are you gonig to use the upper left section of the cab to veg them for one week? Since you should probably veg them seperate from the flower room. Otherwise looks great, I am about to build a similar set up! :) Also 45 clones seem alot for...

I need some critiquing for my closet grow.

Whats ur ventilation like other then the one fan? If you are going to make a switch to hps, you need lots of ventilation (they get super hot!). I'd say stick with cfl's for now, way cooler

Newbie question - best strain for a small area

I've never grown an autoflower (I would like to but there are no seed companies in Toronto that sell them) but I would imagine the 2700k would be best since i believe its the "flower cfl". But I imagine both would work since autoflowers also work on any lighting regiment (12/12,24/7...)...

    inline fan for 400w cooltube

CFM of 350 http://cgi.ebay.ca/NEW-Duct-Metal-Fan-Inline-Exhaust-Fan-Blower-Vortex-6-/160431466337?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item255a75e761 Will the 250 air booster vs vortex 350 make a huge difference when cooling a 250w hps? I heard air boosters are bad with bends in ducts too.

Newbie question - best strain for a small area

Id go with an autoflower strain (LR,LR2,gangja dwarf...etc) or small indica like NL of g13 etc... I'd search seed company websites for small heavily indica strains. websites also usually give the average height of plants. Also for the intake, no carbon filter is needs, just on the exhaust. For...

    inline fan for 400w cooltube

Yes I might try that with my 250w HPS because it will only set me back $40 (250cfm air booster) instead of finding out that the I could have had the same cooling effect as the $100 vortex. Although my biggest worry will be the change in air speed/removal if a small carbon filter is added onto...

    inline fan for 400w cooltube

Alright thank you for your guys feedback. I found a nice 6" inline fan (vortex) for $104 (shipping/handling) so I think that is my best bet. I've also decided to use a 250 cool tube hps instead of 400w... so I know this inline fan WILL control the heat!

    inline fan for 400w cooltube

This is a noob question... but I have to say it, I was researching my potential 400w perpetual cabinet grow and I stumbled apon a cheap 6" Aero Flo 240 HIGH CFMs inline Duct Air Booster Fan...

    sorry another lighting question

Usually 3 23w lights are the bare minimum for growing per plant... depending on the plant size. I'd say add acouple more if you want to strive for a larger yield... Also get rid of the tin foil! your better off leaving it bare... or even better use flat white paint or mylar. I'm new to cfl too...
