I'm using that same method. General organics with teas every couple waterings. Working great for me :) it's my first grow but I'd like to toss the bottled nutes completely in the future.

yes they can both successfully be used from seed to flower. the xgs 190 has a seedling (65w), veg (130w), and flower mode (190w). i don't own the sgs 160, but i believe it has two modes... veg (120w) and flower (155w) you're making a good choice by looking into the a51 panels. i love my 190s :)

I own the 300w reflector panels (c300) I use two of them to fill out the shady edges and corners in a 4x4 tent along with two Area 51 XGS-190's. Check my sig to see how they bloom. And yes, their true wattage is 190. I've tested. I'm happy with them so far!

You can't really judge an LED panel's power on it's advertised wattage. But I'd say two panels are better than one as far as coverage goes. What brand are you looking into? You get what you pay for!
