Confused about PH Levels in Soil

I don't think they look too bad, but maybe a little? I posted some photos of them in my previous post. Not sure if they're showing up though

Confused about PH Levels in Soil

Here is some more info on my CURRENT setup. But like I said, I'm going to switch to the General Organics Go Box on their next feeding. They're showing some signs of stress (purple stems, older leaves turning light green-yellow-brown, but I don't think they're suffering too bad yet. Strains...

Confused about PH Levels in Soil

Thanks for your help!!!! I'm hoping that by flushing my plants to runoff of 6.5 and letting them dry out then introducing them to the General Organics Go Box will set the PH to the proper level automatically. My tap water is about 7.0-7.2 Right now my runoff is reading about 5.9 to 6.0. Should...

Confused about PH Levels in Soil

LOL breaking bad... this whole growing thing had me thinking the same thing. Wish I would have had this advice when I started!!! I've had a fuckin headache over this PH bullshit the last week since I noticed I fucked it up in the first place by using GH flora and/or Ph down in my nute mixes...

Confused about PH Levels in Soil

My city water is reading 37ppm so it's super clean - right? That's what I have been feeding with.

Confused about PH Levels in Soil

I have been using the GH Flora series, but I've decided that I'm going to switch to the Fox Farms Trio since I'm using the Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil with 50% perlite. Apparently the GH flora series works in soil but it was designed for Hydro? I've read it's much easier to manage PH with the...

Confused about PH Levels in Soil

Yeah I know that my PH is low. I flushed 2 gallons with 7.0 tap water and the runoff now reads 6.5. They're in 1 gallon pots. Since the runoff now reads 6.5 I guess I'm now in the right PH range.

Confused about PH Levels in Soil

It doesn't answer my question. Let's say I'm watering with 6.5 water and my runoff is coming out at 5.9 - what is considered to be my soil's PH level? Is it 5.9 or is it 6.5 just because I'm feeding it with 6.5 water?

Confused about PH Levels in Soil

Noob here. Just confused about reading PH. I'm hearing so many conflicting answers while searching around about this topic. 1. If I'm pouring in PH 7.0 water, and it's coming out at 6.5 - what's my soil's PH? 2. If I perform a "flush", should my runoff PH match the water I'm pouring in? Is the...

    Fixing Cal/Mag Problems

Okay thanks for the clarification. So DON'T use it along with the CalMag? A couple days ago I sprayed the leaves with a mist of 3/4 dose of CalMag... will the added lime/epsoms that I plan on water feeding today affect it negatively cause of this?

    Fixing Cal/Mag Problems

Haha no prob, I really appreciate your help! I'm about to go to the Hydro store and pickup some Epsom Salts and Lime to mix with my water. Should I add my regular nutrients after I mix up the lime and epsom?

    Fixing Cal/Mag Problems

Thanks so much for your advice. Sorry, but what is rec. stand for? (rec. epsoms, rec. lime) The water I've been feeding is 6.8. It comes out of the bottom of the pots at 6.0-6.2.

    Fixing Cal/Mag Problems

Thanks man! Do you think a touch of dolomite lime to the topsoil would be advisable? Or is the Epsom Salt enough?

    Fixing Cal/Mag Problems

So you think just water with PH 7 water with a 1/2 tsp of epsom salt? Would you recommend foliar spraying this mix too?

    Fixing Cal/Mag Problems

I've checked the stickies. I agree, things don't look right. But out of everything it seems Ca/Mg are the main deficiency since I have been feeding with such low PPM tap water that hasn't had any CalMag in it. I'm thinking that I need to get the soil PH to 6.5. Should I do a flush until I get a...

    Fixing Cal/Mag Problems

After doing a lot of research and contemplating, I think I have some magnesium and calcium deficiencies showing up in my 8 plants. Purple stems, brown spots, yellowing of oldest leaves. They are clones from the dispensary and I've had them for around 3 weeks. To be honest, some plants showed...

Oh No... Is this the TMV (Tobacco Mosaic Virus)?

How quickly do you think it would show in my other plants? Does it spread like wildfire once you have it?

Oh No... Is this the TMV (Tobacco Mosaic Virus)?

Thanks guys! I was looking at TMV and to me the curved leaves and mosaic pattern of green worried me. I'll keep an eye on it...

Oh No... Is this the TMV (Tobacco Mosaic Virus)?

Noob here. Picked up this clone from the dispensary a few weeks ago and never thought much about it since it only appeared on one leaf. Now, I'm more concerned because it's showing on a few more leaves and turned some yellow. Some leaves are growing curving either to the left or right. Also...
