    too much humidiy

I had some concerns about humidity in my tent 60-70 , also using the small dehumidifiers because of noise. i think its only possible to use those if you have like 5/6 of the things . I do have a proper dehumidifier but its so loud. I opted for 2 of the little buggers and i think i am removing...

    Co2 setup vented/unvented

So i usually run a fully vented system with HPS and CMH, i vent from one tent into the other and through 2 Inline filters to the outside, i have no extraction fans or filters inside my tents. (i grow in the attic which gets hold in summer and cold in winter)I have used Smart co2 bags, exhale ect...

Few ideas to get around the heating issue with LED lights.

Not sure i can do that. having previously had a grow room fire in my attic which costs me 10000s to fix and loss. I would be so paranoid about fire i wouldn't sleep. *Edit , the fire was caused by a blunt end not going out and nothing to do with equipment but still!

Few ideas to get around the heating issue with LED lights.

I don't really like clip on fans. I have a big issue with noise as I grow in my attic/loft. I find the clip on fans vibrate a fair amount with the tent poles acting like an amplifier. I either need to use pedestal fans which can also be a pain with floor space , or what I have been using now is...

Few ideas to get around the heating issue with LED lights.

So I have often managed to save on heating my tents in winter by combining he extraction for my two tents. Running them in opposite time frames and passive ducting from one to the other. However while I am now switching from HID to LED I am trying to think of other ways to reduce my dependency...

LED strips in 2024, Help needed selecting best parts for first DIY

After some thought I may just switch to a 4x 250w 420 quantum board setup . The cost is pretty much the same and will result in allot less work to set the things up. Having 4 I can spread them out and put a slight tilt towards the centre of the tend for a good penetration level

Yea T slot. I think I found a nice cheapish version from Germany. Alibaba is being a nightmare. I sent drawings ( lifted from another site for dimensions and they say they need more detail) https://www.smt-montagetechnik.at/produkte/1131n.htm €12 per M best I found so far

LED strips in 2024, Help needed selecting best parts for first DIY

No problem. 50-60mm Wide and under 20mm T track seems to be really hard to find generally. If I don't succeed it will be square profile with self tapping screws and I will worry about cleaning it later. Even that T section is going to be a pain as some of it is hollow anyway . Nothing a little...

LED strips in 2024, Help needed selecting best parts for first DIY

Alu sheet may be the option. The fancy stuff you have is going to cost me £24 per M which is just too much imo. U channel seems to be allot too with that 60mm surface. Stupidly I found 20X60 for £15 per M . I will have a good look on Alibaba. Failing that itl be L bracket which looks shit but...

LED strips in 2024, Help needed selecting best parts for first DIY

Good advice, I will only use as last resort. I wonder if 3mm flat aluminium will do enough to heat sink these bad boys? Or perhaps angle/T section without the fancy speed fittings. One thing I don't quite understand is what wattage they are. How would you go about running them at 70w as opposed...

LED strips in 2024, Help needed selecting best parts for first DIY

i have requested a couple of quotes for same stuff you have but im holding my breath will probably be £15 per Mtr . Way too expensive, so will likely go with a cheap U bar , square will be ok as i will be using Self tapping screws anyway. Not sure why i would need to clean the inside of the square.
