You use the hygrometer through the second stage of the dry/cure. For the first stage of my dry I hang the branches in the dark at close to 60 temp/60% humidity as I can get it.... In about a week you could use your meter on either the branches or the buds. Different numbers for each and you...

Depends on the density of the buds, a hygrometer is much more accurate... Cheers

I hang the branches until the outside feels a bit crispy ;) Takes about a week, bending the stems never worked for me. I buck the buds into a tote and leave it for 24 hours with a hygrometer inside. (They are about $20 for 5 on Amazon). If it is below 70% I "burp" the tote twice a day...

Maybe you need to reconsider what medium you're using ;) This is a 2 gallon plastic pot with ProMix HP, feed is AN, light is 600w MH/HPS, Early Miss Auto. Yield was 13.2 oz. Cheers

It's at the top of my post, perlite. I haven't ph'ed my ProMix HP either for years ! The Maxi series is ph buffered. Cheers

Not sure about the conversion ? But, 5 gallon pail with a 3" styrofoam plug in the bottom, so about 4 gallons of perlite. I mix 6g/gallon of Maxibloom and she is drinking +1/2 gallon per day (to runoff). Well water ppm is ~500, ph is ~7.5. No cal/mag, no ph down. 600w MH/HPS in a 5 x 5...

Hmmm, my experience on feed is a bit different..... On my current grow I'm using MaxiGro/Bloom with two plants, one in a hempy bucket with perlite and the other in a 2 1/2 gallon fabric bag with ProMix HP. At day 71 both are up to 6g/gallon of MaxiBloom ! No other additives... They both...

My water comes straight out of the ground ;) 80' well, ppm of 500, ph of 7.5 ! Used to haul city water, that got old in hurry ! Decided to go back to well water, I never had to add Cal/Mag and actually got better results when I quit phing down.... Recent water sample test > Cheers

Thank you ! Sorry, can't help you. I don't "amend" my ProMix, I don't ph down and/or measure run off, don't use Cal/Mag/dolomite lime and I never go over 1000 with my feed. Cheers

FYI > I ran a comparison grow with Mega Crop one part and GH MaxGro/Bloom. Three gallons fabric bags with ProMix HP hand watered from the top. Didn't notice any difference in results between the brands Although MC is the less expensive you may as well just go with the Maxi series.... Cheers
