I put the buds in a regular freezer bag first and roll it up with as little air as possible. Then into the vacuum bag. The air inside the first bag will keep the vacuum from compacting the buds. Or, just turn the machine off and seal before it's completed it's cycle. The buds will still...

I grow with straight ProMix HP. It is ph buffered so no need to ph your water. Using Mega Crop one part or GH MaxiGrow/Bloom. Cheers

I vacuum seal in 1 L mason jars, two years later fresh as they day they went in... When I dip in I take out a weeks worth and put that into smaller glass jars. Then revac the parent jar.. Fresh bud all the time.... Cheers

My well water has a ppm of 500 and the ph is mid 7's. With ProMix HP and Mega Crop one part and/or MaxiGrow/Bloom I don't ph down... When I did I used store bought ph down acid.... ProMix HP is buffered and Mega Crop is chelated, that is usually enough but it wouldn't hurt to ph down to be...
