How I accelerate fade in soil

No, just two I like right now. Won't pick winners until they're dried and smoked.

How I accelerate fade in soil

Interesting point. I get the water PH down to about 3.3. I would think that would cause some lockout?...

How I accelerate fade in soil

I think that depends on the grower. I prefer mine well faded out at chop, as do many others. I like the colors, and I don't like the taste and harsh smoke of green chlorophyll.

How I accelerate fade in soil

To cause a plant that's not fading to fade. That is of course, if fading is what you want. To be clear, I'm not suggesting this is something everyone should do. It's simply another tool that can be used if need be.

How I accelerate fade in soil

Common method is plain water last 2 weeks of flower. But if the soil is still too hot, or the plant is just stubborn, I simply PH the plain water down to under 4.0. That low of PH causes nutrient lockout, and accelerates fade. Tried it on three runs so far with great results. Try it, you might...

Nobody huh? Guess I'll do a small run and see how it works. Hopefully the best kept secret in bagged soil ;)

    Anyone using Roots Organic LUSH?

Looking for a new bag soil for my water only (mostly) runs. I bought a bag of Lush, and the stuff LOOKS and FEELS great - very fluffy, lotsa perlite, and appears to be well amended. It's a newer product, so there's just not a ton info out there. And no, I'm not looking for advice on mix recipes...

How old must a plant from seed be before cutting clones?

I've done plenty of cuts before from mothers and older seed plants (8 weeks+). Conventional wisdom from das interwebs says a seed plant must be 8 weeks old before taking cuts. That's seems a bit long to me. Can I take cuts from a seed plant at 4 weeks? What say yee

LST training stakes? What are you using?

Yeah that's what I do. I was referring to people who tie flexible wire or string to the edge of the pot.

LST training stakes? What are you using?

Lot of wire users I see. Not a fan of drilling holes or other contraptions, when you can buy 144 medium binder clips for less than $20. They clip to the edge of plastic or cloth pots, and you can easily adjust the positioning. Also very useful for power cord/string/sticky paper management...

LST training stakes? What are you using?

Yeah I used to use the green rubber coated garden wire, with the office clips attached to the pot rim. Works nice, but I find the stakes are much faster to install, easier to adjust, and much faster to remove - especially if you have a lot of plants. Was just wondering if someone made stakes...

LST training stakes? What are you using?

I was making LST training stakes out of coat hangers, but I need quantity now. Probably gonna snag these in 6" and 12": Landscape Staples What else is out there?

    Most Powdery Mildew resistant strains?

Slurricane. Had this in a room with 6 other plants overrun with PM, and it did not have a single spot of PM. I also recall some dude on youtube did a big room run, and introduced PM on purpose to see which strains survived, and Slurricane was 100% unaffected. And as far as killing PM on plants...

soil ph is at 8.o , what can it be? and how can I fix it

That plant is rippin! I wouldn't change anything when you pot up - except maybe skip the baking soda. Also guessing that plant is root bound in that 1 gallon pot. Might wanna put 6 or so vertical slashes on the sides, and few on the bottom of the root ball with a clean knife. I also spray the...
