Absolutely true, but you won't find many true "sog"s with 2-3 gallon pots. SOG's take small 8" or so clones and flower them. Hardly any veg time at all, just flower them to save time. But in theory, the plants need no veg time since there are a metric ton of them stuffed in the tent. Just sayin'

I do almost the same thing, but instead of an air pump, I use an ultrasonic fogger in my tote. Very close to 100% success.

They have all been topped once giving them 4 tops except for the baby in the back. The tallest pair of tops of each plant were tied down slightly if needed in an attempt to keep all 4 tops even.

320 watts of quantum boards would crush that (in a great way). 40 watts per square foot <may> be a bit more than you need, but it's better than not enough. 320 watts of QBs are good for a pound or more if you have the skill. How much have you been pulling out of that 4x8?

It would be nice to get a final summary of the grow off. Watts at the wall, ppfd, days to finish, yield, cost of lights, etc. all in one nice post for easy reference. Of course everyone would then dispute it and just get angry and yell and cry... but it would be good for people actually...
