Suggestions for a good pH reader?

Don't use a soil one. They are just not that good. Not really needed in my opinion.

Suggestions for a good pH reader?

Most reliable ones around. Apera has the bonus of changing tip once it's starts to give you varying readings. Cheap ones work for a short time, give varying readings and takes for ever to read. Most good ph pens last 6months to a year.

Which is most optimal? (COB vs SamsungStrip)

Think the L06 in that size is overkill. Better off with S02 or S03. S02 run the lowest amps. Be plenty for your size.

    High humidity problem

Try the cat litter. That will help for your size. Then later once you know your setup better. Can judge what size you need. More plants etc more heat etc all effect the humidity. Just use cheap cat litter to start with. Rock salt etc. Silica has the highest absorption rate

    High humidity problem

Buy silica cat litter. Helps absorb the humidity, as a stop gap till you buy a large room dehumidifier. Better to be safer in long run. As you don't want to buy another one when you find out just not powerful enough to suck entire humidity out.
