above is good advice, and remember, many sativas can flower indefinitley. you can harvest more than once if you like. also, they will never really get to a place where they appear ripe, because the plant keeps producing new growth with clear trichs and white hairs. but i say 10-11 weeks should...

i let mine go 9+ weeks, it started to dreadlock which is nice and got very solid in the last 2 weeks. i would say 9 even 10 weeks is the way to go.

i just harvested my BD a week or so ago. wow, what a great bud. nice yield, covered in trichs. the stone is great for muscle pain and it lasts for hours and hours. i woke up hungover on weed after just two bowls. blew my mind, i wasnt expecting this. this will be one of my main strains now...

well my trim is rather potent stuff. really coated, i just put the shake in a jar and put enough alcohol to almost cover the vegitation. the trim will wilt down in the alcohol rather quickly, i just add a bit more. till the water line is at the trim line. do it to it, late
