I've got one. This plant is a Tangerine auto. I started it indoors on May 8, and took it outside on May 13. It gets direct sun from 11:30AM - 7:00PM. There are a couple of 20 minute windows earlier in the morning where they get some filtered sun, but the rest is shade.

I usually transplant at a certain time interval due to running a perpetual grow, but for non-perpetual plants, I transplant at the time I have to start watering the pot daily, sometimes slightly before.

I'm not taking sides on the whole pH/no pH in soil, but I will say that it definitely doesn't hurt to pH the solution, and it's a good habit to to be in if you ever decide to switch mediums in the future.

I'm the exact opposite (my Cal-Mag goes in my stock tanks first), with no problems (ie. no precipitation). By the sounds of it, if for some reason that I forget to add Cal-Mag first, it won't be the end of the world.

How much Cal-Mag are you putting into how much water? What's the overall EC of your nutrient solution?

Why are you advising someone to take no action when a deficiency is clearly present? There's a pretty serious Magnesium deficiency present, and that will absolutely cause problems going forward if not dealt with. Ignoring the problem doesn't work when growing plants.
