    Harvest/Flushing

They won’t photosynthesize as well with less chlorophyl. You probably cost yourself some yield, but I would expect them to fatten up some still as long as the leaves don’t get worse. It’s a learning experience. You won’t yield a ton here probably, but given you grew it yourself it’s going to...

    Harvest/Flushing

They don’t look done enough to me to have leaves that yellow all the way up to the top of the plant. I think they probably need feeding and have a good 3 weeks to go.

Its all in the Terpes, say Lab Report(2021)

Probably true. Felt like I stepped in it based on the reaction. Basically my take was that you are frequently paying a premium for a strain that isn’t really different than any other random plant at least insofar as you can decide that from a single study on a handful of strains. I definitely...

Its all in the Terpes, say Lab Report(2021)

I was looking at the blurb below along with the low r2 values. ”In addition, we determined that pairs of samples with identical cultivar names (for example, OG Kush) were often as genetically and chemically distant from each other as pairs of samples with different names” I’m not looking to...

Its all in the Terpes, say Lab Report(2021)

So basically strains are more “bro science” than anything?

    Phosphorus deficiency.

Not sure what the overnight temps were, but that could make sense. If it makes you feel better this one looked just like yours and turned out fine outside of some wacky foxtailing. Good luck with the rest of the grow. I do think you will be fine as long as you stay away from bud rot. Even if...

    Phosphorus deficiency.

That purpling doesn’t look abnormal to me. Some strains do it or it can be due to cooler temps. Even if this strain doesn’t normally do it you could have a pheno that does. In any case 8 weeks into flower that plant looks generally pretty healthy. I wouldn’t sweat it too much. Your biggest...

    Diagnosis help

thanks, pretty much exactly what I’m doing. As far as the ca I had picked up some charts that suggest ca is best under 6. Not sure what’s right, but 6.2 and 5.8 both should be better than 6.5. As far as water they are drinking just fine losing maybe a gallon a day in each res.

    Diagnosis help

lights are maxed, but obviously its a combo of light and distance. They could be maxed at 8 feet away and be light starved. Mine were relatively close to get those readings though, probably 20-24 inches, but I didn’t measure.

    Diagnosis help

so same thing I saw. Glad to hear. Agree on the ca deficit? That one seems obvious to me.

    Diagnosis help

Thanks. Too much light did occur to me which is why I raised them a bit. That said I’ve run hotter than this in flower before so I don’t think that level is automatically too much. What part looks like light stress to you? I had suspected the slight bend up along the leaf edges more than the...

    Diagnosis help

Looking for some thoughts on diagnosis/treatment. Basically is my approach reasonable? These plants are in the fourth week of flower in hydro. GH nutrients plus tps calmag. EC has been sitting around 1.5, but I‘ve been reducing the number because EC has been rising when checked daily implying...

    Rookie needing help

So here’s my take fwiw. That plant doesn’t seem to be dying despite its problems. Your choice is get almost nothing harvesting now or wait and potentially get a yield. You can always chop in a week or two if it gets worse. To that end I would either wait until the trichomes say it’s done or the...

    Rookie needing help

gotcha. I thought you were saying those are similar pics. Looking at those I don’t think you are going to get much at all, and it would likely be poor quality if you harvested now. I don’t know if they can be salvaged, but to me the labor involved to trim and process isnt worth the bother...

    Rookie needing help

I think you need to post your actual pictures rather than another pic you see as similar. I will say the pic you posted is nowhere in the same galaxy as “ready“.

Should i start to flower,7 weeks

That plant seems kind of rough for 7 weeks. I would flower it just to get it over with, then I would go buy a better light. That thing looks like it’s powered by a strand of old Christmas lights you found in the back of grandma’s garage. I don’t think you are going to yield much here sorry to...

    Improvement?!?!

Agree. unless the strain is vampire cookies it needs more light and less garlic.

    New grower

Seems ok for seedlings. Personally I would rather have the temp on the low end of your range. Good luck on the grow.

    New grower

Personally I don’t see anything I would worry about too much yet in the seedling that fully popped. As far as the other one goes, stuff happens. It may not have been anything you did. If you want more commentary you should probably provide more details e.g temps, humidity, light type, distance etc.
