Uh, the math is really easy for per light. Crop weight divided by number of lights. It's an average in that scenario. Still the same thing.

In getting ready to run 12 in at 4x3 at 1050ma. I'll be over 1000 ppfd with this setup, and it should also work well for a 4x4. It also pulls about 80 watts less than 10 3590's running at 1400ma.

I'm sure that's the case. But Will it rock hard enough to merit the extra cost and electricity usage vs 8@49 (392 watts) or 10@35.5 (355 watts)? The ten on two hlg-185-1050's is 250 watts less than I'm running now with likely much better coverage and overall lighting.
