    First time soil grow(happy frog)

I can't personally vouch for the General Hydro, however I know many people that use it. To my knowledge it shouldn't be an issue. My biggest recommendation is let the plant tell you what it needs, as I have seen far to many new growers (myself included) over feed plants and cause worse issues...

Sorry for your loss :( in my opinion I would have to agree it's a male, but I ALWAYS leave the decision of chopping a plant to the gardner.

help b4 i chop most beautiful male plant?

WELCOME to RIU. You will find a lot of great information on here, but also some not so great information. The most important thing is to continue to learn and do individual research to find what works best for you in your garden. Make use of the forums search bar, as this is a great way to...

    First time soil grow(happy frog)

Forgot something! Not sure bout their soil specifically, as I use Roots Organic mixed with couple other ingredients, however I have found the the FF nutrient trio does lack in the CalMag department, and have heard others comment on this as a type issue with FF products. Again though, I can't...

    First time soil grow(happy frog)

Little more information would be helpful. However, Happy Frog is a good quality soil and should need nothing more then water for at least the first 3-4 weeks of the plants life. With that being said, depending on how long you plan to veg, etc you may need to add nutrients at some point through...

Would it be cheaper to run 2 150w hps vs a 400w hps?

I would TOTALLY have to disagree with this. Yes, 12/12 from seed may take less time, as most autoflowers are intended to, but is a COMPLETELY different style all together. Running reg or fem seeds 12/12 from see tricks the plant into an early flower yes, however an auto flower can be kept...

    help plant def

One thing I wanted to add, but totally off topic. I usually mention this in my welcome to RIU, but for whatever reason completely spaced it. Many members on her are more then happy to give advice based on opinions and experience, however ever grow is different and it boils down to you finding...

    help plant def

@TubePot hit the nail on the head. When ever you add something to your water it will cause the ph to fluctuate. I have had my ph drop in a gallon of water from 6.8 down to 6.1 by adding 3ml of nutes. Thats a pretty big swing.

    help plant def

You wouldn't think it would make that big of a difference, however plants tend to drink/eat considerably more during flower then in veg. Couple things you can do, as its been stated couple times is let the water sit out, I person goi 48-72 hours. Next thing you can do is contact the city you...

    Help Identify The Issue

Sounds like a plan! Thanks again for your help! Once I get a copy I'll throw it up here. Bad as it sounds I guess waters the one area I haven't overly researched, guess it's time to start doing some homework.

Building Clientele for weed at uni?

I'd have to agree with this. It's one of those things that if you really have to ask how you probably just shouldn't do it. However, my presumption is that you will try anyways which if that is the care I would try and get to your frat houses, and not the crap hole, get drunk till we puke and...

4 an a half different autos

Personally with how nice your first grow appeared to turn out, I'd do another run or two similar and just try to really dial in your system and see if you can get improvements with what your running. Once your schedule isn't so crazy, then try test runs. Myself I'd either test 4 different...

    Help Identify The Issue

I greatly appreciate the input! At the exact moment I have only a couple other options for water 1) Tap Water or 2) Purchasing either spring or drinking water rather then purchasing distilled. I had only gone with distilled as I only have a ph meter and haven't got a ppm yet, but have had...

    help plant def

Well I haven't used coco but the couple people I know who run coco tend to keep ph closer to 5.6-5.8, if you were in soil that ph would be awesome, but might be something to research/consider. The only other thing is I know when I have use tap water, I let it sit in an open container for 48-72...

Whats your water source? Whats the ph of your water? How much of the AN are you feeding? Little CalMag probably wouldn't hurt. On another note, welcome to RIU!

4 an a half different autos

Not sure that running different strains is going to give you the best comparison if you want to run 4 different nutes? Just makes more sense in my head if you want to try a variety of nutes to have multiple plants of the same strain. Just my two cents. Either way excited to see this second grow!

    Help Identify The Issue

Well during lights out it seemed to have progressed on this plant some more. Maybe it is time for a quick feeding of CalMag again, as that seemed to help last time, however CalMag shouldn't do a whole lot if it's a Boron def should it? Maybe its just cause I am new, but I have been looking at...
