I have a 3x3x7 with a 600 watter. I have a 6 inch MTN fan with carbon filter. I'm using a non vented hood. this is all in the basement and I have no problems with temps, if anything there almost to low. LOL. so he should be golden with the 400 cfm. you didn't mention filter?

i'd go 18/6 on light. I'm not sure what economic light is but if you mean CFL's what wave lenght are they? what kind of soil? what nutes? how is your drainage? are you checking PH? I use rain water and some times Ph is way off. hope this gives ya some food for thought.

whats your setup? lights etc. if the light is too far away it will cause them to stretch. pics would help.

never grew out door but this is a seed I got from a friend. he grew outdoor. it was good smoke and grew well( it survived me LOL). personally I'd go dinafem but that's just me. hope this helps and best of luck to ya.

yeah like mrblu said you can start with a cheap setup for under 100. got mine for 85.00 from ebay with shipping. 6inch fan, filter and ducting, fan and filter are good ducting was crap lots of pin holes in it.in a 3x3x7 tent 600 watt in a basement. works really well no smell and keeps temps down.
