You spend $4k on two rooms and you're worried about a ph meter's price??? Why would you NOT want to monitor Ph and PPM especially if this is your 1st grow? Hop on ebay and spend another few $'s and then you'll know exactly where AN puts your water's ph.

There is a probably a 4" dia attachment that you can get (that is the 4 holes around the vent). If you added the vents and cooled the hood, then it is an air cooled hood. Not a cool "tube", but a cooled hood. Anyway...that's what's up.

It's 400 watt MH. The 1000 watt note is referring to the max size lamp the fixture will hold. His power markings are 120volt and 4.0 amp. V X A = Watts ...so it is power usage is 480 watts at 120 v. Therefore it is a 400 watt MH. NOT a 1000 watt.

Hey man. Look at ebay for the meter. Its usually a little cheaper there. 5 bucks or so. but that 5$ you can spend on something else. Peace man

well if your meter on that shelf is correct and it is around 80 at the base of the plants, I wonder what it is at the canopy level? Try getting them some coolness.

stop watering them every day. They're small and don't need all of that. You're over-watering them.
