Yes it has the thermo option and the fan kicks on and off with it. I find the fan is worthless also, but there is a switch on the back to turn it off. I can tell ya this N&N, that sucker kept us nice and warm this winter. Best thing I ever did for this big ole shack, only thing I don't like is...

Yes I've used em and yes they work great, but they get hot as hell so be careful with em....seriously.. Found em on the net while surfin..:) Can't tell ya what I used em for, it's a secret..for now..:)
