I've done both and 0/6 of the 1st made it An I've got 6 more in a baggie under a light bulb for heat.. is it better to do it in the dark or should I keep the light...

Just a few quick questions as I plan on growing in coco, is it necessary to use calmag or anything when rinsing the coco? Is viagrow a decent brand of coco? (only found 2-3 reviews) and I kno more space for roots the better but is it necessary to get a 5 gal bucket over a 3?
