every other day may be a lil much, they like a lil time to dry out. i water once every 2-3 days in my 2 gallon pots. yea its fine to water until a lil bit runs out the bottom, that's they way i do it and many other people do it this way to, i also add about an inch or so of some gravel/fish...

u got a lot of reading to do man. have u guys thought about what ur gonna do about the smell of the bud when it starts to flower? its gonna make ur apartment smell like weed and ur neighbors will probably smell it to. did u germinate the seeds be4 u planted them?

i used both for my whole grow so far, and it seems to be working great. ive seen quite a few people growing with CFL's and they to use both, 2700k and 6500k's during their whole grow. bongsmilie
