    Germination Kit Question

yes, but use an eye dropper or something, don't flood it. Alternately you can water it by wetting it from the bottom. You don't want to drown the seed. They'll generally stay wet enough to sprout the seeds though without rewetting.

yes a noob geesh.. Closet setup!!?

Completely depends on what you're calling affordable. If your budget is $10, hang one CFL and leave the closet door open. Do some research on what kind of lighting you can afford and I'll help you design something around that.

    Germination Kit Question

those are peat pellets, I use them everytime I germinate seeds. soak them in water for 15 mins or so until they completely expand and put the seed in. As soon as they sprout I plant the whole pellet in soil.

How am i gonna get my pc grow box colder!~!!

I feel your pain, my office is the only room in my house that stays hot, no matter what the ac is set to in the rest of the house, it sucks. Oh, and I grow completely in my office. Right now it's 86 in here and 85 in the flower closet and veg box.. and none of my plants seem to mind at all...

what are the numbers on chaching? I've been going straight from growbig to beastiebloomz, and I'm seeing yellowing a little sooner in the flower cycle than I should, been compensating with fish emulsion, but I think I might try chaching in the first half of flowering.

How am i gonna get my pc grow box colder!~!!

I assume you're saying it's 92 degrees in a room that you actually inhabit? Screw the plants, I'd be trying to cool the room off for your own sake! Seriously, if this grow case has an exhaust fan and an intake fan, it's going to run within a couple degrees of your ambient room temperature. I...

    Think this'll work?

Think these clones will get enough light? They're in my veg box, under a flat of babies; there's a ton of T5 goodness in there and the walls are mylar. Had to cut them off of the mother anyway, was going to discard them .. thought I'd give it a shot.

EXPERIENCED GROWERS/DIY'rs--$800 to build closet grow cabs-(vague)

I don't know how better to explain what I mean, but I'm not stoned atm, so I'll give it a shot. Since you're only using one fan, but you need fresh air and air exchange in both the flower area AND the veg box that is within the flower area, you need to make the passive intake holes in the...

EXPERIENCED GROWERS/DIY'rs--$800 to build closet grow cabs-(vague)

I better understand your drawing now. This is what I'd do- make all of your passive intake come through the veg box. Air sucks in passive intake in veg box, then sucked through the interior wall of veg box into flower box. It'll work as long as you have enough intake holes cut. Then the...

Your veg box plans look ok, but do you have a ventilation plan for it? I used the same TD Mixvent on my veg box, just the smallest one, the 4" instead of the 6". Here's a pic.. I put the whole exhaust rig on the outside of the box. The other pic is the inside, hung a T5 fixture in there.

That's exactly what I used in my closet, and it's the shit. Blows away (haha) other fans I've used. I can't say it's quiet because of the air movement noise, but you can't hear the actual fan at all. Good choice. As for the strain, look at paradise seeds white berry, attitude sells them, if...

    High temperature?

I veg under 18 hours of light, might as well save the electricity right? Plus if you're going to flower in the same cabinet, the dark time will let you practice some lights-out temperature control if that's an issue.

    High temperature?

You should consider under what conditions the temp hit 85 though- are the summer months going to push that limit up? If so you should be solving this now.

week 3 of flowering plese help

That's why MG soil is a bad idea, it can burn your girls. Some strains thrive in it, some burn just like you're talking about; I burned up some power skunk babies last year with it. I started with MG soil too; you're better off just getting some peat heavy potting mix from wal-mart and adding...

    light phase question

The closet I built to flower in is about 4x3x8. When I upgrade the ballast, I want to get enough lumens to hang the light at the 8 foot ceiling and still get decently dense buds on the lower parts of plants. I've never had a 600 or 1000w light so the heat might surprise me, but I've got a...
