if you can stir it up first it might work.

Automating a Grow Room / Rooms

I thinks its because the he's more focused on managing the control system than the plants. Well that's my issue at least so I rate he's got the same. Also plants still need a human eye, even the automation needs a human eye. Otherwise you in the realm of AI and that's still prob no where as...

Nutrient uptake rates for NPKCaMgS--a nice graph

My plants seem to like 80% Ca-N ratio best, I find myself hovering around 40-50ppm of Ca. Whether more or less is better still eludes me. I saw on one of the millions of nute threads that K:Ca:Mg should always be supplied at a 3:2:1 ratio in terms of ppm. He was talking in the context of coco...

DTW with small pea-sized hydroton ONLY?

Thinking about a DTW system where I can reuse the media. Hydroton is preferred here and I can reuse it. Anyone tried this, or thinks it may work or not? OR just flood and recycle the nute?

Nutrient uptake rates for NPKCaMgS--a nice graph

Same. Well at sea-level. BUT where live and years ago, Lucas used to be 1ml/l micro and 2ml/l bloom which gave like 2-1-2 in veg and 2-1-4 in bloom. Always had leaf burn but the bud was dank. So lately I've trying to replicate more like backward engineer the Lucas ppms from ghe labels and...

Nutrient uptake rates for NPKCaMgS--a nice graph

Yeah those number are familiar and what I tennnd to target. Am using a 2-1-2 NPK ppm for veg and 2-1.5-3 for flower maybe I'll push it to 2-1.5-4 in late bloom. Still experimenting for DFT hydro. I want to watch what the leaves do, no burn ect. Normally my plants dont complain much but Im...

Nutrient uptake rates for NPKCaMgS--a nice graph

Yes I have been looking at old shcool threads the past few years, link me with some gems if you have... I tend to look at ppm's of npk etc, like I calculate how much salt is in my res in terms of ppm, but seeing how much other people use is a great start and saves so much time experimenting. I...

Nutrient uptake rates for NPKCaMgS--a nice graph

The document says it's in mg/kg. So that prob means mg of nutrient ion per kg of plant matter. The N values were in percentages, so I just multiplied by 10000 to go from % to mg/kg. I shared the document from whence this all came. Have fun

Nutrient uptake rates for NPKCaMgS--a nice graph

Im making fertliser for hydroponics and the exact ratios of nutrients to each other are kinda important.

    Nitrient burn or Mag deficiency

I still think it's Mg-Ca issue tho. I rushed to get pH calibration solution today. Got my pH meter accurately measuring pH and it's fine at 6. Gonna make more nutes tomorrow and change the res out with fresh & stronger nutes esp with Ca and Mg

    Nitrient burn or Mag deficiency

I just had an idea. I think my KNO3 may be contaminated with chloride, I ordered it on like takealot.com from some guy who use KCl in making it. I will go buy some pure Saltpeter (KNO3) from the pharmacy tomorow before my country goes into lockdown

    Nitrient burn or Mag deficiency

Yeah the cuttings were very neglected, but the brown spots on leaves is new and generally occurs in my crops. I have very soft water and I make my own nutes, so I will jack up calcium from 40 to 50ppm and there's also 15ppm in the water so 65ppm tots.

    Nitrient burn or Mag deficiency

hey guys. My Exodus Cheese plants always complain like this. I think its a mag issue but could also be lockout. Running flooded tubes with water at 20c ie 68f Ec = 365ppm canadian Ph meter out of action

3000K vs 4000K SPD curves for Samsung LM561C & Emmerson

Found this old thread on google now and was a suprise to see I'm the op. Stoner. Anyways, 2 years later after using my 4000k samsung strips, I can say its not bad. Plants get very branchy tho. But I going to use that light just for a veg setup and get 3000k strips now. Happy 10% extra Emmerson.
