The only thing this "Mix spectrum" will do is help with flowering... you can flower with just your orange spectrum (I forget which temp is which for CFL's right now... its been many years) However if you mix a few blue bulbs in, it could potentially make your buds more funky. I would recomend...

If your in flowering, a slow steady yellow will begin which is normal... The plant is sucking out all the sugars and nutrients from the fan leaves and putting that energy into bud growth. By the time you harvest MOST (not all) of your fan leaves will probably be gone

I'm a bit lost, but if your considering supplementing your HID with flours then I say more power to you, extra side lighting is never bad (unless of course its at the wrong time or creating heat issues etc)
