I feel you, that’s why I wanna add three more boards while still keeping the three hlg240’s. One 240 for each trio of boards. For the strain I’m running at the moment they seem to be very happy at 18”. Any closer and I get some cupping. Outer boards are at 100w two centres at 70w.

Not saying it won’t work, just suggesting the China boards due to mars using epistars and Meijiu using samsungs. Even a V1 hlg kit that’s on sale atm. Might as well have a light with updated technology for the same price (if not cheaper)

China boards through Alibaba, not AliExpress. I went with King Brite but Meijiu is cheaper. Very happy. To (match/out perform) what you’re getting with the TS600 you posted, you would only need a 125w qb288 kit.

Couldn’t tell ya man, I don’t have experience with those type of fixtures. There are many many copy’s of the “spyder style” fixtures. ultimately all you can do is research as much as you possibly can before buying a light. If you don’t want to tinker or diy then possibly something like Jakkar...
