I second that ! I was unaware and got a machine ,plus 160,73,45 . Perhaps you could get a 190 instead which I would have inquired about had I known. I've been trying for a couple of weeks to buy a 190 but it seems they are back ordered.

Thanks Frenchy, I'll try both ways. BTW in terms of an update I've now done 5 runs and have the beginnings of a nice little "wine cellar" curing. Your videos and this thread [which of course includes "toute la gang" here ] One thing...

When we clean up our bags with the spray I'm wondering if it's worth doing all bags except the catch bag or just the 73. What are you guys doing? Also, re the water, the thread mentions re use of the clean up water . It can't mean to pour it in the next bag or there would be no need...

Frenchy, I got several types of result from my "oil" after scraping I had some fine whiteish/yellow powder then some very sticky stuff looking like lower quality traditional hash, and a couple of very glassy /oily pieces. I'm leery of even ingesting it as it looks nothing like the small...

Hey War Machine, My 99% dried and I got my oil but you sure were right , I should have filtered out tiny plant particles with a coffee filter. Live and learn :) I'll add my next bit of cleaning alcohol[once it's dark, Merci Bien Frenchy] to it and strain before drying.

Makes sense Shawns, if the point is to reduce humidity then reintroducing it would be contraindicated , I'm sure my son would agree however Frenchy really emphasized an almost full container for long curing and I'm only dealing with "personal" amounts so the only way to fill a small jar would be...

Yeah Shawns, same strain . My son who is a scientist, tells me that since glass jars are only 1/3rd full I should burp them less often perhaps 4 day intervals or at most a week. He claims that this will have same or very similar effect as once a day burp on 3/4 full jar. I too will wait...

Frenchy, I have some soon to be dry trichomes, can I add them to the jar containing some that have been curing for 8 days? This would make a better air to trichs ratio.

Thanks Frenchy, that's a nice tip on the 160. BTW After drying is it ok to then combine them with trichomes that are already curingfrom a week before? Or, should they be kept /cured in separate batches ? I'm trying to fill my curing jar to have less empty space .

Thanks Shawns, I got the 160,73 and 45 going but once the 160 catch bag material dried I could smell more goodness. I guess I'll do butter with that and get a 190 to clean the 160 next time . For the record , I'm not using the 120 triangle that came with the machine as I'm letting the...

Hi Confucious, Not sure what the 125% Yes refers to. There are three questions in my post. Can you be a bit more specific? BTW I am using quality material. Also, of course I defer to the good offices of one Mr Cannoli but I'm happy to hear from other folks and Frenchy has said He's cool...

Hey War Machine, thanks for the input, I shy away from chemicals but I do hate to waste too . Also don't have lots and lots to play with. That said, What do you mean by a "cough filter"

Frenchy, A question on catch bag and edibles. As I'm using just 3 bags the 160 is all plant matter. You mention using it for edibles. I do have the 220 triangular shaped bag that came with the machine and was thinking I could use it to catch the plant matter by using a portion of it...

Frenchy, can you explain what you do to retrieve from the alcohol? I have cleaned bags and utensils and left the oil to evaporate in stainless bowl However it crept up on me and after little [so it seemed] evaporation ,all of a sudden, just a golden film on the bowl and I could not remove...

Really looking forward to this Frenchy . My bias is towards traditional high quality hash but that said, there is no doubt that our "modern" environment provides opportunity to perhaps equal the best of the old school methods. I avoid highly toxic solvents like the plague. Be...

Hi Frenchy, I was watching the Mickey Kush video and noticed you do not clean your 73 [with the spray] into the 45 but you use a separate bucket to "clean up" the 73. Is this because you are removing mostly plant material and don't want to add it to the 45 only to have to remove it from the...

I did a dry sieve and hand press and as a first timer it was very instructive. I used a simple, single screening and had very clean lightly screened trichomes and then some with a bit of plant matter which I'd handled a bit less gently. Both stuck after I held between thumb and palm and were...
