    Mine are at 8 weeks now...big Nor' Easter blew thru today. The girls spent the day under cover. I may chop this weekend. No bud rot but am finding some seeds. Too many people doing outdoor growing here in my neighborhood I guess.

    Up here in Canada i am used to protecting tomatoes and stuff to 26F with towels and tarps and bedsheets. The worst parts of frosts are between 6 and 8AM... in the early autumn.

    Everybody has old bed sheets they are never gonna use... get them all nice and resining smelling.

    Get a cloth drop sheet... a tarp of something.

    Spraying plants with a mist of water can protect plants from a light frost. But then you are left with moisture on a plant which can promote bud rot. Pick your poison...
