I plan on doing a scrog next grow. Im trying every method at least once to see which method has maximum yield. I also think the way I installed my lights is not the most efficient for scrog.

Exactly my point. Ive done 2 runs with the big bloom and im on a run without. Im not seeing any difference. If anything my plants are doing better than before. Could just be mygrowers skillis increasing though. The big question is whether the salts in the grow big and tiger bloom solutions kill...

I think you need to shake the bottle and also get a more accurate measuring technique. I love grow big. Very efficient and doesnt burn my plants too easy. Ive done 3 runs with it and have had no problems. 1/3 nutes 1/3 genetics 1/3 growers skill thats the magic formula for great marijuana...

nutes from sprout or wait a bit ?

a lower ph is essential. Its not soil its a hydro medium. And it doesnt have much if any nutes in it so I would feed very lightly after a week or 2 . Are you 100% coco. If so then you will be feeding every watering like they do in hydro. Id do at least a straight water once a week to help flush...

    Indoor growing w/soil: nutrient questions

Fox farm recommends using there nutrients every other watering. Salt builds up in the medium with fox farm so its good to go every other watering to help flush some of the salts out. Straight from the horses mouth if you know what i mean.

Dont get it twisted though. Id trade it all for a tent and a hps of around the 400w variety. But these tubs have made some nondry times at my house for a long timw now. I cant remember when the last time i had to actually pay for weed.

How are you exhausting your air. And where exactly are your intakes located. And do you only have 1 passive intake. YOu will need 2x the exhaust size for it to have proper vent. Your scrubber might be slowing it down to. Show me pics if ya can

The thing about cfls is they are most efficient within 4 inches. After that you lose a ton of lumens. So i kind of visualize a bubble around the lights. And i always keep my plants bud sites and fan leaves in that bubble. So thats more food for thought.

depends on your settup. I would go with darkroom louvers for intakes. I would put them either on the sides or rear. They will keep light in and thats good. I will probably do that sometime in the future to mine. The general rule of thumb for ventilation is you want your passive intakes to be...

i question the importance of big bloom. can somebody break down the importance of this. i feel like it s really mild and expensive. my latest run im not using it and everything is fine. i use grow big and tiger along with beastie and cha ching. i run a 50/50 light warrior/ocean forest mix.(they...

    tiger bloom or big bloom?

thats the first Ive ever heard that. I dont think you could just flower with big bloom. And Isnt bud sites more of a genetic or training issue. Im in a run right now wihout big bloom and i havent noticed a bit of difference. I wanted to see the difference before i dropped more cash on it or...

i sandpapered them, then used krylon plastic paint. 1 coat black to then 2 coats white. the black coat keeps light in and the sandpapering is very important. the paint doesnt like to stick to the plastic. something to do with oil in the molding process so the tubs dont stick to the mold. how...
