Supra, do you think this would work for 3 of the COB's? Each heatsink weighs 14.6 ounces.

my plants are growing very slow (pics)

repot now while you have the chance while they are small. Your soil looks horrible, things will only get worse when they go to flower.

    Flowering with Cree bulbs

Don't want to rub it in but you can, they're $4.97 here ;) some people are even getting it cheaper, I think it was vermont that has them for $1.97 because of the subsidies. I hate that I can't use them, as my rig isn't equipped to bounce the other side of light the right way.

    Flowering with Cree bulbs

did you ever consider trying out the philips LED bulbs with the 8 luxeon royal blue diodes? I'm pretty sure they cover upper UVA because when I use them without the remote phosphor things glow just like a black light.

    Flowering with Cree bulbs

awhile back my local store had the 2700k under 2 different names, I think it was cool white and warm white, and they both had the newer diodes. And to add confusion, the revision numbers printed on the base were different, I believe 1 and 2.

    Flowering with Cree bulbs

Just be aware that Cree changed the diodes in the bulbs, they're no longer like what CM has, nor the same quality. Philips is doing the same, cheaper diodes now in their bulbs. My older philips were much better.

    DiY LED - Cree CXA3070

well comparing CFL to LED bulbs lumen to lumen, I think it's obvious that lumens don't tell the whole story as the LED blows the CFL out of the water.

Anyone know what the problem is?

Don't worry about it appearing to get worse, once the damage is done it takes a few days to show the full effect of the original damage. So they really don't look that much worse in that last pic. Looks like classic nute burn to me, cut down drastically and just keep a close eye on how it reacts.
