closet is 5x6x7 tent is 4x3x7 will be using a can 33 filter, to air cooled 600w hood then vented to my attic. my question is where do I pull cold air from? Closet ambient temps are 77 deg wil it be ok just to pull the air from passive vents and the closet itself? I could pull air from my room...

hmm now that you put it that way I guess I can't just keep pulling passive air from the closet itself...the closet does get fresh air from my room but only through the door itself which looks like this where else would/could I pull colder air from?

def exhausting to the attic passive intakes would be from the tent itself pulling air from the closet, closet is 6x5x9 if needed I guess I'll use the portable ac and a y connector to the tent exhaust...that would work I think

I'm up for suggestions, I was going to have my fan mounted in the attic and run the exhaust through there, I guess I could pull cold air from my room? Outside is very hot sure in the "winter" it might be slightly cooler then inside but I would eventually like to turn this into a perpetual grow...

how big is your tent again?

what's the benefit of hard ducting vs flex? looks to be a comparable setup to what I'm putting together. Very nice that the temps are good, do you have any ventilation/circulation to the closet itself? My concern is that my closet has no a/c vent and the air is stagnant.

looking for a first grow strain something that is stable and been around, and hardy, but gives that awesome couch lock high. something that is good for insomnia etc. growing indoors in a 4.5x3x7 tent, I have about 4 feet of height available for the actual plants was looking at barney's...

well going with the sunhut, air pots, radiant 6" air cooled hood , lumatek ballast, digilux 600w hps and mh bulbs. stuff should be growing within he month... still need seeds, carbon filter, inline fan, circulation fans, nutes, and misc stuff. cleaning out and prepping the closet this week.

there is a link to someone's thread in here where they showed transplanting to larger airpots no problem. mine will be here tomorrow, 4 4" minis and 4 2 gal pots I won't be starting my grow for a few weeks though just made a big ol order of pots, radiant hood, digilux 600 mh/hps bulbs, sunhut...

thanks hank I figured saving money on the pots and no possible stress of a transplant, and smaller footprint are all good things.

interested to see how this goes about to pick up some airpots but not sure on sizes...can I grow from seed to harvest in a 2 gal airpot, or would it be better to get the mini pots and then transplant into 3 gal pots?
