my plant is about 2 feet with white hairs starting to sprout by the main stem..when can i go 12/12

my plant is now about 2 and 1-2 feet tall and white hair is showing from the nodes up near the top. when should i go 12/12 and when should this start to bud..im a first time grower and i need help tell me what to do..

i have a bagseed plant and its about 2 and 1/2 months old with white hair starting to sprout from the main stem..what should i do...can i keep it in straight darkness for 2 weeks or do i have to give it 12 - 12 for a few weeks
