Hi all, its the 1st time using nft and i think i left it a bit too long before switching to 12/12. They are 2.5 weeks in and are already about 4ft, ive only got a 400w hps so a bit worried, should i chop the tops off? FIM the 4 plants or maybe get a net? 600w light? Any help very appreciated.

Hi all, decided its time to go hydro, got everything i need i think, 1 problem is this nft424 doesnt have the notches in the corners for cables etc, should i make some? Will any light getting in matter? The plastic seems a bit rigid to hacksaw a v shape out. Any help greatly appreciated

Hi all, my closet is very cramped and everything seems to be going wrong. They were fine for a few weeks then stopped growing and 2 leaves on each plant started turning yellow so i repotted them, they are now 32 days old and are still very small, plus there seems to be nute problems. The Light...

Using a 250w on seedlings/young plants i burnt them :( The lamp was maybe 1.5" away but they did some growing in the night the ends of 2 went brown. It was at 3" after that and theyre fine :)

TY for the advice :) right now its lined with the grow sheet material but i do plan on replacing it. This might make you laugh the dimensions are about 1.5m x 45cm x 2m. Im pretty worried about heat from the hps in the narrow space even with the cooltube but even more worried about the plants...

Late update: You were right Kermit i got just over a q, a bit better than midrange but close enough :) But it was a joy to smoke :D Im doing it right this time, got 1 fem white widow and 1 fem NL x skunk #1, i picked strains that can take a bit of stress lol but i think i was too cautious now...

Thank you :) Im trying to soak in as much info as i can, next time im using 2x250 fluros for veg, 1x400w hps flowering, biobizz all mix etc, im gonna reduce the chances of anything going wrong, i know it will but im prepared heheh

Thanks for all the advice, nothing i can do about the light right now, theres no way of getting rid of the heat of a decent light where it is at the moment. I gave it an average dose of baby bio to see if anything improves. Kermit: i totally agree, when this poor girl snuffs it im doing it right.
