Advanced Nutrients "No Shock"- how long can I use this?

"No Shock" is an 8-6-12 mix by the way, with Fulvic acid, etc...

Advanced Nutrients "No Shock"- how long can I use this?

Yo guys :bigjoint: Working on my first hydro grow, and I have a question. My partner and I just got 15 clones, each about 3-5 inches tall. We recently transplanted them into larger pots, and I've been giving them a 200 ppm solution of Advanced Nutrients "No Shock". They seem to be doing fine...

Accident!- Got Carpet Wet in Grow Closet- big problems?

However- should I be worried about problems in the future if the pad IS wet? I have an air intake that blows into the grow area, onto the affected floor space, but obviously not onto the pad. I can also keep fans on it throughout the grow- should actually help air circulation in general. What...

Accident!- Got Carpet Wet in Grow Closet- big problems?

You're definitely right. I had to deal with a flooded basement in my first college house, and the worse part was the rank, damp padding underneath our flooded carpet... It's difficult to say how long the water was soaking... my best guess is we're dealing with 5ish gallons that sat for an hour...

Accident!- Got Carpet Wet in Grow Closet- big problems?

Yup yup, definitely... As I said it will probably be a couple days before the term "bone dry" starts to enter my mind, so you know... but again, thanks for your time and consideration!

Accident!- Got Carpet Wet in Grow Closet- big problems?

GWN- definitely. Obviously I probably should have done that in the first place... but like I said, learn as you go... it's still fun :)

Accident!- Got Carpet Wet in Grow Closet- big problems?

Awesome guys- wasn't sure if there would be serious concerns with mold, disease, etc. because of this. I think I can borrow a wet/dry vac from my work and take care of it tomorrow... some of the spot already feels better after a few hours of box fan action, so I'm starting to be positive about...

Accident!- Got Carpet Wet in Grow Closet- big problems?

Hey all, Learning as I go on my first hydro grow, and unfortunately I (we) ran into some problems. My roommate was watching our new batch of clones while I was at work, and accidentally (long story, don't ask) spilled a few gallons of water onto the floor underneath my grow table, which is in...

    Basic Lighting Question

Yeah- its a closet space, so heat is a concern of mine. I'd like to go 400 HPS, 250 MH, using a Reflector like one of these GrowZilla joints: http://www.planetnatural.com/cgi-bin/planetnatural/growzilla-reflector I think that should be just about perfect. Can't wait!

    Basic Lighting Question

What if someone was thinking of using both HPS and MH lights in a 3x4 grow space? Was thinking of going 1000 HPS and 400 MH through both veg and flowering stages, but now I'm REALLY thinking this is overkill or will encourage heat problems in such a space. Looking at probably 8-10 plants to...

Do duct (inline) fans require any soldering?

I guess it bears asking- I'm going to be growing in basically a 3x4x6 closet space. Do I even need to worry about a carbon scrubber then?

Do duct (inline) fans require any soldering?

Right on man, thanks for the reply- I was skeptical if I'd be able to use a cheap fan like that to hook onto a carbon filter. I'll be getting a Can Fan or a Vortex- thanks!

Do duct (inline) fans require any soldering?

Hey guys, first post here, lots of great reading so far... I'm putting together a DIY carbon scrubber, and will also be constructing a basic ventilation system for my first grow in about a week here. I'd like to use some inline fans for these projects, but had a question about some of the...
