Do you substitute the water for the plant food? As in add the plant food just as often as you would water the plant or do you add the plant food every second day or so? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm worried about the acid level in the soil becoming too high.

Thanks for the advice buddy. Im gonna need to do a lot more planning on this and also Im not living on my own at the moment and my room mates are already quite suspicious as to whats going on. I'll be moving out on my on after Christmas so I think I might start planting again then.

I'm pretty sure it was a 25 watt bulb plus that set up that Meta Synth just posted looks pretty bad ass. I think I may need to go back to the drawing board and re think this. I thought I could grow with one light and some TLC. What are does black plug looking things by the way for future reference?

I cant seem to find a a CFL bulb over 25 watt. Would this light be suitable to grow 2 Ganja Dwarf Lowrider? I have a 60 watt incadescent spotlight bulb in my lamp shining on the plants at the moment. Would this be suitable? I have heard they are pretty much useless. Advice greatly appreciated.

I did some more reading up on growing as I discovered I knew a lot less than I thought I knew so I knew nothing :-P Im just gonna grow 2 plants for my first time. I followed your advice and moved them to a closet with a light. What light cycle would you recommed?

Thanks for the advice Bud. Not much of view to window I'm growing it on so no one will see it. Another problem I have is that I don't really have anywhere else to put it. I dont have a closet I could store it in. Except maybe my wardrobe but I dont fancy my clothes smelling of weed
