New hydro grower - Is this deficiency or lock out???

Thanks. Here's updated pictures. Got our water temp down but may be too late. They keep putting on growth but then start yellowing. I found a chart that looked like potassium deficiency to me as well. Changing the nutes to up the potassium. I probably shouldn't keep on trying with these...

New hydro grower - Is this deficiency or lock out???

Thanks all. Will do. Already have some more clones started so will see what these do until they're ready. I am really a sucker for underdogs. Will move them to another area.

New hydro grower - Is this deficiency or lock out???

I was afraid that might be a possibility. I just bought Aquashield, ZHO Powder and ordered Ancient Forest (or can get another brand worm castings locally) to mix up the tea recommended in this forum. But, I also saw a post just about Aquashield by itself. Any suggestions?

New hydro grower - Is this deficiency or lock out???

This problem has been a little over a week ongoing. I posted a request in the problems section but so many answers referred to soil growing. Plants had been transplanted into my grow box for about 6 days when they began to yellow with dark veins in the center. Thought it was a def since we...

Update to my plant symptoms - updated pictures - help needed

Did as you suggested. We flushed the system 6-8 hours. Then mixed a new batch of nutes up for veg stage but adjusted EC to 1, which ended up equating to about 50% of the mfg mix. PH is 6. We also moved the box into an air conditioned room. It has lowered the temp of the water to 70-72 and...

Update to my plant symptoms - updated pictures - help needed

Lady Z--I'm sorry, I mean the water circulation up to the plants (the drip portion) is on 15min every 3 hours. The air pump is on all the time. Well, I was told this is a DWC - The reservoir is filled up to the bottom of the cups and roots hang down into the water/nutes. Then during the 15...

Update to my plant symptoms - updated pictures - help needed

Hi - I posted a thread the other day entitled 'Help diagnose problem - pictures for reference'. Mag and Nitrogen deficiency came to mind. I ultimately changed and did a new batch of nutrients and some of the yellow went out of the plants. I think general concensus was also that temp was too...

Yes, I have stones. Roots haven't been slimy yet, but will need to check them in a bit. Our nute water is a yellowish when fresh. The grower that set us up has his entire grow house at 97 degrees all the time. He's hydro but they're open in the house. He told us temp ok. (Course we are...

Help diagnose problem - pictures for reference

Thanks Riknstein and Happy Dragon. I took the pic of the roots with the tray lifted to show the condition of the roots. The 'manual' suggested the water be very near but not touching the cups until roots establish then lower the water level some but it doesn't say how much. I'll try to find...

First time with a grow box....and it's been a long time since I even grew plants in soil.. That said. Picked up these plants last week and put them into my hydro setup after having run it for a week with nothing in it to make sure it's all functioning properly. They had roots started and did...

ppm too high out of tap

Hi - I'm new to this site, new to growing hydroponically as well. We are trying to set up a new grow box setup. Our tap water comes out at 524 ppm tds. When we add recommended amount of nutrients it is at 930 ppm tds. Do I just let it set and the tds will drop or should I be using a...
