People put pot seeds in water so they can soak up enough water to germinate (more quicky??). Anyways, I know they float at first but once they soak enough water they sink. Hope this helps at all..
It looks streeeched. What kinda light do you have on it and how many? Also, if you do 12/12 from seed then it will stay small and still bud if it is female. There just won't be as much.
You can either make your own fixture or buy sockets at walmart, lowes, home depot, or any store like that. I would recommend you reading up on GrowFAQs at the top left of the page.
I've had this same problem. Just water once more if needed and don't water for 3-4 days at a time... It is the soil. MG has a tendency to nute burn seedlings.
Them shooting up so fast prob means they streched. You want to keep the CFLs as close to your plants as possible. Some say about 2-3 inches away from the top of the leaves. Adjust the lights and put your hand above it. If it is too hot for your hand it is too hot for the plants.
Anyways, I...
I prob wouldn't nute it until it got its first set of 5 leave or even more since miracle grow already has time released nutes in it.
I would def. repot it and at least bury it a few cm below the first two round leaves. Also be careful how often you water it. I know from experience miracle grow...
What kinda lights do you plan on using?
Cardboard, as mentioned in another thread, is a fire and mold/bacteria hazard. Wood is cheap and I would recommend getting it.
What is your cab made out of? To me everything looks fine. Just keep the soil somewhat damp. Humidity isn't a huge issue. I also grow with CFLs and I usually keep my humidity around 35-40% and they do just fine.
Just sit back and chill and smoke one :joint:
That exact light would be great for your grow.
Also, foil creates hot spots which will burn your leaves. I suggest you go to a hydro shop and get some mylar. Your car sun blocker will work, also, I believe.
Anyways, looking good!
Foil creates hot spots which will burn your leaves. I don't think mylar is that much, but don't mind me... I have no hydro shop anywhere near me. You could just paint the walls white, it works just as well.
