how do i know when the calyx start to swell?

oh yeah it definitely has some battle wounds, i fucked up alot due to this bein my first grow.

i think im just impatient and the plant just isnt done flowering yet.

i started the plant in september and started flowering in middle november

nah i grow indoor. i just took the plant outside to take the pictures. im growin indoor with cfls in a homemade cardboard grow box. the middle pic is taken from inside the grow box, the other two pics were taken outside.

i still remember the day i realized those funny white hairs growing out of it was a sign of it being female, i had no clue at the time, why it started growing hair lol

i cant believe i started this plant in September 2010 and im still growing it now, January 2011

what type of telescope do i need to see the trichomes? what magnification? and where can i get one, in a redneck hick town?

dang that sucks i was hoping it would be more indica, i like getting high and wanting to fall asleep, not the type of high where your all paranoid and having panic attacks. lol damn,..

yeah the hairs are mostly whitish, but if you look at it in person up close, you can tell that the hairs are starting to change colors to a light brownish orange

yea its a good ideal to get one i suppose but im not that smart about telescopes and all that stuff. i dont even know where they sell them at, around where i live.

good luck on that. i spent $78.84 to make my pc grow box, i quickly realized that it was not going to fit my plant. so i ended up taking all the work that i put into a secret stealth pc grow case, and put it all into a cardboard box that i found in a dumpster down the street from my house.

i would personally suggest you tilt your head 90 degrees to the right. or you could pick your computer monitor up and turn it side ways.

idk how to explain but, there are mature nugs on the plant that have clusters of newer growth protruding out from the sides, where the bud sees the most light. the part of the bud that is not in the direct light of the bulb continues to grow normally, but the opposite side has hairs growing out...
