I usually start in small biodegradeable pots and then about 2-3 weeks into it i transplant outside And to thinn I live in the fond du lac area(not actually fond du lac but within 30 miles)

I was just wondering if i bought CFL bulbs, can i just put them in any lamp and they will work to grow or do you need a special lamp to go with it?

Also i was kind of thinking of going almost like hybrid lighting for like shitty rainy days and such i could bust out a CFL or two to put on the plants that sit on my southern facing windowsill to give em a little extra juice, my yard has a high fence with tons of shrubbery and trees around it...
