Hi All! I'm new here and I also happen to be trying out a plant for the first time. I live in the high desert and am growing in an 11" pot on my deck. I just wanted to start a thread about growing in a desert environment because I haven't been able to find much to read about it.

I have a pc hydro grow box when i started it i just went down to my local hydroponics store and asked all the questions.... they told me to use 6000 lumens for veg and abt 1200 for budding i found a 5400 lumens CFL at home depot and called it good my box is now full and i really need to switch...
