don't skip security steps. once u get the noise down, then u will hear oscillating fans, pumps and ballast hum. a sealed room helps with smell issues and keeping negative pressure inside the grow area.

the styrofoam sheets for the floor should help buffer the cold. yes too cold is bad. my coolers help me even when it does get cold because they buffer any temp swings. temp diff is good for the plants but not the roots. things should stay pretty constant there.

i've seen some of the square water coolers from powerade. not sure if it would fit though. it might be possible to still transplant to the round setup if u have to. don't be scared to try to transplant, there's nothing worse than the feeling of pulling out the brown roots and watching stuff go...
