Want to Transition into Sterile Hydroponics. Flood and Drain. Need Guidance.

High doses sometimes. Around 3ppm usually.. The stock solution I made is a lot stronger than what I've seen others use. I believe it's 4.7grams of 65% HTH in 500ml. Used up to 1tsp per gallon a couple times for testing.. sometimes consecutively after cycling, testing without any noticeable...

Not sure. I plan on trying enzymes and bennies but like you said, they can be pricey.

Want to Transition into Sterile Hydroponics. Flood and Drain. Need Guidance.

Just a heads up. Pool shock/chlorine lasts a couple minutes in a hydro environment. Not a week like you're looking for. I've played around with it and i didn't find it reacted with a nutrient mix of Epsom salts and Maxibloom using orthotolidine But when cycled through the roots and perlite...

wrinkles in leaves? Foxfarm Sledgehammer flush

The reason they call for flushing is because they call for super high ppms like everyone's saying. It's like saying punch the plant in the face then put a bandaid on it.

wrinkles in leaves? Foxfarm Sledgehammer flush

Probably a "sledgehammer flush". Flushing = prolonged saturation = Calcium uptake issue = deformed new growth. IMO

    Cloning top of mother

Will absolutely work. If the strain is worth keeping, you can do that forever. Take a couple cuttings if possible to increase your success rate.

    Slowing down on water intake

Something wrong there for sure. Plants should continuously need more water as they get bigger, except after transplanting into fresh soil. After 2 days there's no oxygen left in the water; and its no wonder the plant wont drink anymore because its suffocating. Problems: you are using too much...

PPM keeps dropping 2 wk flower

Are you measuring after topping up? Plants always take more water than nutes. Measuring is done after topping up with water to give the effect that PPM is stable at the right range. That ppm rise seems perfectly normal if you just letting them drink. It could also be the plants taking up...

Was all goin fine and now this.....help???????

I see some leaf edges bent. Could just be light too close/heat? First colour pic just looks like some nutes splashed on the leaves. Next to that pH most likely.

    Cloning Area and Cloning Cycle

Yup. you will have to feed heavier more often in the smaller pots. Put some weaker floros close to control the stretch without toomuch growth. 24/h light should reduce rooting. The smaller pots will indeed slow the plants down but they can be a lot more finicky. Air-pruining / fabric pots...

    How to use fertilizer ?

Throw some Dolomite Lime on top of that soil. You will need it to balence what you are feeding it. When you transplant, mix some more into the new soil and it will work even better. It will save you all the trouble of worrying about pH and complicated crap.' Other than that, what everyone...

    Ppm/ph question

Water itself doesn't have a pH. It's the stuff in the water. 12ppm isn't nearly enough stuff to worry about or have any effect. You don't need to pH water for soil.

    Ppm/ph question

Water at 12ppm doesn;t need to be pH adjusted. It has no buffering capacity. What medium are you growing in? also 328ppm of pH down your pH should be like 2.0 - Is it that rootfarm walmart crap?

    Deciding when to transplant

Don't wait for the signs (smaller leaves, slower growth, general unsatisfiable hunger, light sensitivity and the obvious; visible roots covering the outside when pulling out of the pot).. As long as the main stock feels solid and secure in the medium, it can be transplanted

    N tox? Lockout?

Use less water so you can try to water every second day at least. That's likeley causing the distortion of leaves. Does appear to have toomuch N by the pics. Don't know LEDs but I would say increasing light should help deal with the excess N. Calmag or epson salts feeding/foliar for the the...

Effects of higher night time temps than day time temps

Your night time is when the lights are off. The effects will be the same regardless of the sun. Colder lights out temp: more stretch, less density, higher risk of mildew/rot.
