I have heard that if I leave some teabags to stew in a bowl for a few days that the tea made is really good for my plant? I could understand how it may act as an antioxidant but I figure I should check this before I wack a whole load of tea in my plant. Does it upset the PH? Used teabags make...

From what I've been told 100w of CFL per square foot. I'm not sure if i have 2 14W or 2 75W bulbs over mine, but still better than my incandesant desk lamp and the windowsil hehe

You got no idea how hard I punched myself after I googled CFL lol I have 2 75W with it now, but you said true wattage and I think that they might be 14w each. if that's not possible then 2 75Ws it is :D I'll post a pic tomorrow, its that time tomorrow :) Thanks for helping out a real numpty :D:D

If it makes you feel better I had a friend pay £130 for a bag of heather once, then he went back a couple of days later and got jacked for another £100. Now that is fully stupid....

Would putting a 2nd desk lamp with it make any difference? I know it's still rubbish, but 2 is better than 1? Gotta wait about a week before I can get a 'proper' light :P

The light didn't smash in the plant did it? Just beat it about a bit? If it smashed you may have a problem with whatever was dropped in the pot. Chemicals from bulbs and such. I can't be more specific I'm still new :)

I began with Organic soil, but there where crazy white bugs in it which grey into flys so I got rid of it, and repotted the plant with some soil for hanging baskets which has some of the water retention stuff in it. Luckily it is big bits of green stuff, so I fished some, but not all of it out...
